DOFF’S DEBRIEF | RANDWICK 11th JANUARY

Another fair Randwick where every horse had their chance.

Race 1

Splintex was one of a few horses on the day that improved significantly between runs and got the job done. Acquitaine is beast of a girl and my next Alizee. Witherspoon paraded well but no improvement on previous start. Omar quite a small horse and got very warm.

Race 2

These highways are shaping up very well in the yard. It's like the country trainers are only bringing their best horses, and why not. Electrified was the only horse not fit.

Race 3

Taniko again outstanding. Southern Lad another horse that showed huge improvement between runs (best I've seen) Special Reward was OK. Cradle Mountain came back well but started to melt.

Race 4

Luvaluva perfect again. Sir Plush peak fitness. No knocks on remainder.

Race 5

Man Of Peace another best it's been. Sondelon, Napoleon Solo and Tunero looked top of their game.

Race 6

Bigboyroy, Cinquedea fantastic order. Rocha Clock holding its condition. War Baron much fitter and leaner this prep.

HTF: WAR BARON 2000

Race 7

Helga was the 3rd horse of the day that showed incredible difference between runs. First-up up yard score was a 7 and Saturday was perfect 10!!

HTF: HELGA

Race 8

All these horse bar Valentino Rossa paraded and presented in excellent condition. Our HTF Onslaught improved significantly between runs and next time will be cherry ripe.

HTF: ONSLAUGHT

Race 9

Mr Dependable paraded very ordinary today. Much too keen, got very warm and looked to race that way. Seeingisbelieving fantastic order. Dabiyr really caught the eye.
