Race 1 – I COULD DO BETTER found his race here. WINDEMERE always goes well fresh and was really good on pace in this.

Race 2 – USMANOV heavily backed and was ridden a treat. Never really looked like it wouldn't win. Loved the run of JUST ORM here fresh with top weight in and unsuitable race.

Race 3 – Simply huge here LORD BELVEDERE. 3 wide no cover the whole trip. Zahra could have been more positive early and still finish in the top 3 I feel. He will be hard to beat in a similar race going forward with more luck.

Race 4 – BALLER got the job done here backing up his good trial. I feel even though he has had the stable change Waller taking the blinkers off at the end of his last preparation may have been part of puzzle for this bloke as he had been having major issues giving away silly lengths out of the gates from not jumping with them.

Race 5 – DOVETAIL DIVA led from the outside gate and just got tired late big effort along with RHAPSODY ROSE sat without cover. These 2 Filly's can take a step back in grade and be hard to beat .

Race 6 – The cream rose to the top here. GRACE AND HARMONY has a touch of class about her and now 3/3 this preparation. SIGNORA NERA was only ever going to run well here and was good from the back. GOOD SOIZE right on track for the Oaks and only 2nd up here. She looks the Filly to follow going forward.

Race 7 – MARBOOSHA was heavily backed here, found the outside lead position in a very slowly run race and held them all at bay. I found her hard to like and she really got all favours here including a tactful ride by Jim Byrne.

Race 8 – ZAAKI was heavily supported and found the perfect spot in run and buried them. He did have a really good setup for the race and was going back in distance off a 2nd up run. FIFTY STARS found a pretty good spot here also and ran well but couldn't hold a candle to the winner.

Race 9 – YAMAZAKI loves the Gold Coast and the way the track ended up playing suited her perfectly. Add that to the tempo they set in front here and it's little wonder she won like she did.
